Main Arena

The 120,000-square-foot Main Arena is truly multipurpose. The facility staff specializes in transforming the venue into your personal showplace. Some of the various events the Main Arena has hosted include concerts, rodeos, barrel races, consignment sales, sports competitions, and much more.

Barns & Outdoor Buildings

The Center features several outdoor buildings that are used to house horses and cattle, as well as host family reunions and picnics. Three of the buildings have concrete floors and can hold temporary stalls or have the floor cleared for other event types. Two buildings have dirt floors and contain permanent horse stalls.

C & D BARNS

Barns C and D are versatile, concrete-floored buildings ideal for livestock shows, equestrian events, or community gatherings. Each offers a large, open floor plan with capacity for stalls or cattle ties, along with modern amenities to support both participants and spectators.

Barn E is a spacious, concrete-floored building designed for livestock shows, equestrian events, or community gatherings. With its large open floor plan and flexible stall configurations, it’s perfect for events that require both functionality and comfort.

Barns S and L feature permanent dirt-floor horse stalls, ideal for equestrian activities. These buildings offer reliable and functional spaces for horse housing and related events, featuring modern amenities for both animals and participants.

WARM UP ARENA

The Center at Forrest County offers an open-air warm-up arena for participants during events and for public use during non-event times. The arena is free to use, and the dirt is regularly maintained.

The Center at Forrest County offers expansive outdoor space ideal for large-scale events, festivals, car shows, overflow parking, and more. This flexible area can accommodate multiple setups simultaneously, making it perfect for large gatherings or outdoor activities.

RV Park

The Forrest County RV Park offers 147 full-service sites in a scenic, convenient location. Perfect for overnight stays, week-long trips, or RV rallies, the park sits adjacent to The Center and overlooks the 16-acre Forrest County Lake.

Day visitors may use the honor box. For weekly or monthly stays, please stop by our office inside the main arena to make payment.
Reservations – Do not take reservations, first come first serve. May want to call to check on scheduled events.

No RV Dump Station on site

Mail cannot be delivered to the RV Park, if you require mail services you will need to rent a Post Office Box.

Honor-box payment is for “day” campers only. Week / Month stays must be paid in the facility Main Office. Bring site number and letter with you, example A1.

The Lake

Nestled within The Center at Forrest County complex, our 16-acre lake offers a peaceful escape for residents and guests to enjoy a relaxing day of fishing. The lake is open Thursday through Sunday, providing the perfect setting to cast a line and unwind.

All State Wildlife and Fisheries laws apply, and a valid fishing license is required for all anglers.

Conference Center

A versatile 3,360 sq. ft. space ideal for weddings, receptions, proms, banquets, and corporate events. The Conference Center offers modern amenities and flexible layouts to suit events of all sizes.

Is there a lost & found?

Lost items are turned into the Main Office and held for 30 days. After that, certain items, like credit/debit cards, are securely disposed of.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Currently, we accept cash or check only for all facility rentals and RV Park stays.

Is The Center accessible for people with disabilities?

We’re currently updating our ADA facilities. Accessibility depends on the event. Please call ahead for details and assistance.

Can I bring my own food or drinks?

Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the Main Arena. Please give us a call (601) 583-7500 to request special accommodations.

What are your hours?

Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM | Event Hours vary. Please check our events calendar here.

Can I work at events?

We hire extra event staff as needed. Please call the office or check the website/our socials for openings.

What is your refund or cancellation policy?

Policies vary by event. Check the event page or call our office for more details.

Do you provide tables, chairs or equipment?

Some equipment is available to rent; contact our office for specifics. All tables & chairs must be rented from The Center.

How do I book a space at The Center?

Fill out our inquiry form and we will get back to you, or call our office (601) 583-7500 to check availability and get details. Rental rates depend on the event.

RV PARK+
Is there a dump station for RVs?

There is no dump station on-site.

Can I receive mail at the RV Park?

No; rent a Post Office Box if needed.

How do I pay for a stay at the RV Park?

Day visitors may use the honor box. For weekly or monthly stays, please stop by our office inside the main arena to make payment.

What are the rates?

Daily Rate: $35
Weekly Rate: $245
Monthly Rate: $550
Layovers: $36/night & includes 2 bags of shavings.

How do I reserve a site?

First-come, first-served. We don't take reservations. Call ahead to (601) 583-7500 to check for scheduled events.

ANIMALS+
Can I bring my pet inside or tie it to facility structures?

Non-service animals are only allowed in building during livestock events (excluding rodeos). Animals may not be tied to fences, stalls or any part of the facility.

Do I need to supervise my animal? What is the leash policy?

Yes; animals must be on a leash outside vehicles or RVs, and owners must always be with them if they are out of a stall, pen or kennel. City leash laws apply. *Owners are responsible for supervising their animals and cleaning up any messes they make.

OTHER AMENITIES+
Can I fish at the lake?

Yes; the lake is open Thursday-Sunday for fishing. You must follow state fishing regulations and have a valid fishing license.

Is there a storm shelter at The Center?

Yes; the storm shelter is managed by the EOC and opens whenever a tornado watch is issued.

Where are the showers located?

Showers are located in C & E barns on the breezeway end and are available for event participants and barn users.
